Since 23rd November 2015 all Landlords must register with Rent Smart Wales in order to comply with the law. You can register online at Rentsmart.gov.wales and your registration lasts 5 years.
Landlords who self-manage their properties must also apply for a license in addition to registering. Again this can be done online and the license lasts 5 years.
